In this post i am going to be looking at the different media theories that there are. Therefore, in my own media text i can add media theories into them.

Surveillance: The audience has an inside view on the lives of celebrities. In this certain magazine, readers have the latest news on Kendall Jenner's social media success.
Diversion: Working women can escape the stress from work and home and instead indulge themselves into fashion, beauty and lifestyle.
Personal Identity: Vogue allows women to find their own type of fashion that suits them.
Laura Mulvey – male gaze/female gaze. It suggests the female form is objectified in a range of media.
+ Kendall Jenner's breasts are exposed in the cover. You could argue that is to gain the attention of the readers and get them to buy the magazine.
